The Great Game is a unique treasure hunt with real treasure (the pub with discount!) You will have an exciting day out enjoying solving the clues and exploring the city!
You are given a treasure map, compass and clues to find your way along the route. If you are successful you will reveal where to draw the X on your treasure map to show the location of your treasure - a great pub!
At the treasure you will receive discount off your total food and drink bill.

How it works
1. Choose your experience from:
- Single treasure hunt - solve the clues, explore the city and find the treasure (pub with discount).
- Treasure hunt race - 2 hunts going to the same treasure (explained here).
- Pub crawl - longer treasure hunt stopping at 3/4 pubs all with discount off drinks.
- Museum quiz - inside a museum, answer fun questions to decode directions to a nearby pub where you will receive discount off your bill.
- Digital pack - download link sent in email instantly after purchase, for use on mobile device or to be printed out. It is advised to bring a pen & paper and compass to assist you (you can use the compass drawn on the corner of the map).
- Physical pack - delivered within 5 - 7 working days. Includes treasure hunt, compass, clipboard & pen.
- Prize pack - included
4. The hunt
- Each hut lasts between 2 - 3.5 miles about 3/4 hours. Find details of each hunt on the product pages.
- It is made up of riddles, puzzles, orienteering, observations and codebreaking.
- Prize pack - included is a brief history & facts of the area plus some brain teasers to be enjoyed at the end.
5. The treasure
- If you are successful you will reveal where to draw the X on your map to locate the treasure.
- At the X is the pub where you will receive discount off your bill (discount varies from pub to pub 10-20% find out exact amount on product page).
