Embark on a city treasure hunt that’s both a mental and physical workout. Can you solve the puzzles and crack the clues to uncover the treasure?

The treasure awaits at a great pub – with some even offering exclusive discounts (see the relevant question below for details).

Along the way, you’ll uncover hidden gems, iconic landmarks and fascinating stories that bring the city to life.

Racing

This race location has two treasure hunt routes that start from the same location and lead to the same treasure pub. Both are the same distance and cleverly interweave along the way.

Split into teams, choose your route, and race each other to the pub!

How it works

1. Choose your pack — hard copy or digital.
2. Once your pack arrives (if ordering the hard copy), you can start whenever you like. The hunt is fully self-guided.
3. Follow the clues, tackle the challenges, and explore the city as you uncover its stories and secrets – all leading you to the ultimate treasure: a great pub! (Some pubs even offer exclusive discounts – see details below.)
4. Details on pub opening times, dogs and under 18s can be found in the route information.

I'm confused about how many to buy for a Race Pack...

If you purchase for two people you will have 1 v 1, if you purchase for 3 you will have 1 v 2, if you purchase for 4 you will have 2 v 2 etc..

Hard - Full pack including printed maps, clues sheets, end prize envelope compass, clipboard and bring your own pen to help us save on plastic and our carbon footprint :) (£3.49 postage for orders under £25).

Digital - Downloads emailed to you containing just PDFs of the pack.

We recommend this should only be used when there is no time for postage as the hard copy provides a far better experience.

It is strongly advised to bring a pen and paper with you for workings out and the use of a compass on a phone.

How does it work? At each location, there are two routes that start & finish at the same spot and are of equal length so it's possible to team up and race. Each race pack contains 2 treasure hunts 1 for each route (more info at the bottom).

• Start: The Royal Exchange Building EC3V 3LR (Bank underground station).
• Length: 2.5 miles, 3 hours.
• Treasure: Historical pub with an interesting past (20% off total food & drink bill).
• Red Route: Heads north exploring the area around the old Roman London wall!
• Blue Route:  Leads south across the Thames and through the vibrant South Bank!

U18s with guardian - welcome but after 7pm needs to be in back area.
