Below are the questions with answers in red.
Clue 3
1.
- Zoom in on 'Cerro de La Cruz' point of interest until you are 2000m / 2km above it (this translates as Hill of the Cross. Cerro = Hill - keep a note of this it will help you later).
- Click into street view mode (the little man icon).
- Look at the 2 southernmost photos positioned just below the blue line.
- Click once on the one on the right so you enter into the photo.
- Scan around this photo zooming in and out to look for the landmark shown in the picture below.

This is called El Arco de Santa Catalina.
2.
- Once you have located this landmark exit street view mode (by clicking on the arrow in the top left corner).
- Scroll over to where it is located.
- Check you have the right landmark below, if it is incorrect re-read steps 1 & 2 and try again.
3.
- Click on street view mode in order to bring up the highlighted blue circles and lines.
- Click on the blue line by the arch just on its south side as shown by the red X in the screen shot below:

- This will bring you into the virtual street (do this by clicking on the blue line and not the blue circles).
- Walk under the arch moving south to north by using the arrows on the bottom of the screen (the arrows are located at the bottom middle of the screen and compass in the bottom right as shown below - the red point always points to north).
- If you cant see these arrows it will be because you are in Google Maps and not Google Earth, you need to be using Google Earth either using the app or the website.
- Or you've accidentally clicked into a photo and not the street view - if so exit the photo and click again on the blue line and not a blue circle.

- Look in the 2nd doorway on the left after the arch.
- Inside this doorway is a scene made of objects and figures.
- The doorway is blocked by a metal grid which is represented below.
- Position your view so it's in the photo which is perpendicular to this doorway.
- Identify the grid which has been highlighted below in red and given labels along its axis.
- What is the human body part that can be seen in the grid in the middle of reference D6? Make sure you look closely by zooming in on the picture - using the + & - buttons, your fingers (if on a phone) or quickly using the scroll wheel on a mouse (if on a PC).

Input the correct answer below to reveal which direction to move on this road - make a note of the direction it tells you.
4.
- Now you have the correct direction to move in exit street view mode and position your view above above this road.
- Click once on the compass so your screen is realigned to north.
- Now move on this street in the direction revealed in the answer to Step 3 and follow these directions:
- 3rd left - left as if you were walking down the street.
- 1st right - right as if you were walking down the street and so on.
- Look at the building you are passing on your left and make a mental note of its roof. This is Building A. Cathedral San Jose.
- 1st left.
- 2nd right.
- Stop on this street.
On this street there is one building which has a similar looking roof to Building A.
This is the building on the east of the street which has a visible X in its courtyard.
Identify this building and explore inside the courtyard of this building complex using street view. Be careful to click into street view (the blue lines) and not a photo (the blue circles)- this is because street view has white arrows which can be used to navigate around and will help you.
To check you are in the right location solve the riddle below - the answer can be seen in a prominent position inside this building complex (it's a 1 word answer).
'Without me and within me is death assured, but within you I am life most pure - What am I?'
5.
Inset the answer from Step 4 into the blank space in the sentence below.
In the centre piece of this building how many pipes are there which ______ flows through?
Be careful and make sure you use the street view mode to walk all around it to check the answer.
There are 8 pipes, make sure you walk all the way around it. Answer = 8.
